Sie hat auf verschiedensten live- und Studioalben mitgewirkt und komponiert auch ihre eigene Musik. Die Weiterentwicklung der musikalischen Traditionen und Kulturen ist ihr ein grosses Anliegen; so ist sie auch als Musikpädagogin für Kinder und Erwachsene tätig und erteilt regelmässig Workshops und Kurse. Musician Eva Wey is active with various ensembles both domestically and internationally, specializing in fiddle music, folk music, improvisation, popular music, and storytelling. She has recorded and composed her own music on a wide range of live and studio albums.

Reise nach Bergen/Norwegen und die Shetland Inseln.
Die Motivation Bergen zu besuchen waren die wunderschöne Landschaft, das kulturelle Angebot, der Bezug zur Folklore und natürlich die Hardanger Fiddle. Diese habe ich auch gefunden und freue mich darüber eine im Gepäck zu haben. Neben den einem Ausflug in die Fjorde, dem Besuch des Troll Museums und vielem weiteren war ich in Voss an der Ole Bull Akademie auf Besuch. Dort hat man die Möglichkeit Studiengänge auf der Hardanger Fiddle zu absolvieren. Weiter besuchte ich ein Konzert der Künstlerin «Beth McBride» und der Band «Time is a Blind Guide».

Near the dwarves in the woods of my childhood lies one of my favourite places called “Das Moos”. Especially when foggy, the ambiance there is mystical. The second tune was inspired by a “gang of puffins” I liked to watch for quite a while. They were gathering in a group and seemed to hatch something.
